The Admira A40-S features a solid cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides for a warm and mellow tone. Satin finish. It also features an ebony fingerboard and gold machineheads.
Admira are one of the most popular classical guitar makers in the world, and for good reason! The Spanish builders always use high quality tonewoods and construct their instruments with traditional methods. The classical guitar building process doesn't lend itself well to mass production. That's why the A40 is handcrafted by experts in their hometown of Zarautz, northern Spain.
Crafted with the traditional Spanish heel neck joint which is considered the most highly developed neck joint in guitar construction. It is significantly more complex than a glued neck, but the sonic benefits are worth the effort. When building a guitar with a Spanish neck, neck and headblock are carved from one piece of wood.
Admira's handcrafted guitars are a fusion of quality materials, designs and manufacturing techniques by highly skilled and passionate Spanish-trained luthiers. They use traditional handcrafting methods to produce guitars with exceptional tone, clarity and expression.
