Custom Wired Electronics The simple yet versatile control layout provides all the sounds the player needs while allowing the player to focus on playing and making music. The 5-way switch is custom-wired to provide glassy and sparkling single-coil sounds in the 2nd and 4th positions as well as the full-bodied and powerful humbucker sounds in the bridge, middle and neck positions.

Cort® CFA-III Tremolo This uncompromising tremolo system features stainless steel saddles, solid machined steel block, and steel baseplate to provide greatly improved sustain, faster and punchier pick attack and a more coherent and balanced fundamental tone. The recessed tremolo bridge allows for pull-ups to raise the pitch as well as pushing down for lowering the pitch, providing further tremolo versatility.

SPOKE NUT HOTROD TRUSSROD The spoke nut hotrod truss rod ensures smooth and precise setting of the neck bow. Often overlooked by many guitarists, the neck bow (or relief) is very critical for the best possible playability. This new truss rod adjustment feature allows the player to dial in the exact amount of neck bow depending the player’s technique and playing style. Incredible value for money! For £649 you get a guitar with a roasted maple neck, faux bound maple cap, locking tuners, Compound 12-16" radius neck with stainless steel frets, Tusq nut, Luminlay (glow in the dark) side dots, Seymour Duncan pickups and a high-quality 2 point floating trem. Specs you might expect of a guitar over £1000, yet somehow Cort squeezed all of those specs into a guitar less than £700. What's more, it looks awesome too!

Tonally it's got great range thanks to the special 5-way wiring. The humbuckers are great all-rounders too with not too much output and a nice dynamic yet tonally neutral sound that easily adapts to a wide range of genres.

The feel of the guitar is also wonderful, the roasted maple is smooth to the touch and doesn't stick when you're sliding up or down the neck. The C profile neck isn't too thick or too thin so you can comfortably play fast legato and shred-type passages while still having plenty of meat on it for barre chords and thumb-over playing. The neck join is very similar to an Ibanez AANJ-type pocket and as such the high fret access even up to the 24th fret is very good.

The 2-point floating trem was fantastic too, as a Floyd Rose player I'm dubious of the tuning stability of non-locking 2-points, especially when it comes to wild whammy abuse but this system managed to hold tune pretty well with some proper dive bombs and pulls, definitely good enough to use live provided you don't totally abuse it like you might a Floyd. As for normal use, the vibrato sounds wonderful and holds its tune very well and the flutters sound great as well.

This guitar plays, looks and sounds amazing I love it, Especially given the price tag. Cort once again sets the standard for brilliant value-for-money instruments.
