Aria RSB-42AR Bass

The bass has a modern design with a mammoth 24 frets if you want to get up to the dusty end. The real MVPs here are the active pickups which give a wide tonal variety - kind of like a jazz bass with extra umph. The satin neck adds to the playability and the gold hardware gives a touch of class to this behemoth.

Much like its cousin the STB the RSB shines in the tonal department. Unlike the STB however this one is designed as a J-Type bass, these basses feature two single coil pickups and are tailored towards jazz musicians with more presence and mids and less emphasis on the fundamentals.

Just like the STB this bass has a great feel in your hands with comfortable action and neck profile, unlike the STB however the RSB has its neck finished in satin. The satin effect is an even smoother feeling finish than the unfinished neck and your hands can freely glide up and down without sticking regardless of sweaty hands.

The weight of the bass is nice to hold, not back-breakingly heavy and well-balanced. The stain finish and gold hardware also give it a touch of class.

Overall a great bass that's good value for the money.
