The Yamaha AEX500 is a hybrid acoustic/jazz guitar that can deliver both acoustic and electric tones via a mini-humbucker and undersaddle piezo pickup combination. It has a flat spruce top with a fixed rosewood bridge and tailpiece. 

The f holes aid in giving more 'air' to the tonality and offer that boxy jazzy tone through the magnetic pickup that many of us know and love. 

Production of the Yamaha AEX 500 began in 1998 and ended in 2000 so this spesific model didn't have a very long production run. 

Still in great condition for it's age with little signs of wear.

Comes with original Yamaha hard case.
