An absolute classic design wrapped in some mordern embelishments. The FGN Neo Classic range is a triumph! The mahogany body is chambered for weight relief however it's still heavy becuase of the quality of mahogany they use. The finish is remarkable and it feels truly joyful to play. 

All FGN guitars and basses come with a unique Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by FGN based on an idea to offer better pitch and articulation than conventional guitars and basses. All frets are installed on fingerboard in slightly curved shape, so that every string crosses all the frets in 90 degrees, i.e. to offer a minimum contact of string on a fret, and it makes the scale length of every string even while it actually varies on conventional fretting. The C.F.S. is a solution of fretting on a traditional guitar and bass and it offers clearer articulation and tones which give dimension when you play a cord and also cut through the mix when you play single notes.

This guitar much like its Gold Top cousin can do it all. Everything i threw at this guitar just sounded wonderful the guitar is rich and warm with a really thick lovely sound. It sustains for days thanks to the transitional tenon neck join and thick high quality mahogany body.

The playability is great also, this one features a so called 'Beefy Thick U' profile what many today call a Baseball bat neck. My preference is to razor thin necks usually but i found this one very comfortable and easy to play even when going for more "shreddy" passages. This guitar was a joy to use and very hard to put down after i started playing.

FGN make some of the highest quality instruments in their price bracket of any manufacturer i know, start to finish everything from the wood selection to pick up choice to finishing is just sublime on every model i've played. Truly an underrated brand.
