A faithful homage to the golden era of electric guitar design, the Regent 7 Trident '56 Goldtop is a masterfully crafted instrument, handmade in the UK with premium tonewoods and boutique components.

This vintage-inspired single-cut features a one-piece mahogany body with a maple cap, matched with a one-piece mahogany neck carved to a comfortable '59 profile. The Indian rosewood fretboard sports celluloid inlays, a 12" radius, and jumbo frets—offering both classic feel and modern playability.

Under the aged goldtop finish lie a pair of handwound Regent P90 pickups, delivering rich, open tones with dynamic response. The electronics are top shelf: BKP CTS pots, NOS PIO capacitors, and a Switchcraft switch ensure vintage-correct tone and long-term reliability.

Finished with a Gotoh ABR-1 bridge, aluminium tailpiece, and supplied in a fitted hardcase, the Trident ‘56 is a no-compromise tribute to a timeless design—made by hand, made to last. Now available at WM Guitars.
