A classic design wrapped in some modern embellishments. The FGN Neo Classic range is a triumph! The mahogany body is chambered for weight relief however it's still heavy because of the quality of mahogany they use. The Gold-Top and gloss finish is remarkable and feels truly joyful to play. 

Loaded with P-90's designed in-house by FGN, this guitar sounds as awe-inspiring as it looks, it's able to handle plenty of sonic scenarios, from hard rock to screamin' blues and beyond, you will be glad to have this piece by your side on your guitar playing adventures!

All FGN guitars and basses have a unique Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by FGN to offer superior pitch accuracy and articulation than conventional frets on guitars and basses. All frets are installed on the fingerboard with a slightly curved shape, so that every string crosses all the frets at 90 degrees, i.e. to offer a minimum contact of string on a fret, and it makes the scale length of every string even where it would vary on conventional fretting. The C.F.S. is a solution of fretting on a traditional guitar and bass and it offers clearer articulation and tones giving you extra dimensions when you play chords and cuts through the mix when you play single notes.

A classic rock beast! This one sounds awesome!

The classic dual p90 combo sounds great, combining the clarity of singles and the thickness and volume of humbuckers these pickups sound great both clean and distorted though i found the sweet spot was a crunchy classic rock sound. Works really well for oldies like Led Zepplin as you'd expect but what really surprised me was the versatility of this guitar. It seemed like no matter what i threw at it from Jazz to Classical to Thrash metal this guitar chewed it up and spat out great tones. Rolled off neck Jazzy chords? Easy. Fingerpicked folk? Done. Blues Soloing? No Problem. Classic rock? Of Course. Heavy pinch Squealing distortion? Surprisingly so.

I've never been an LP guy nor a thick neck enjoyer either yet somehow this guitar despite having a relatively thick U neck and a heavy LP style body just made me want to keep playing no matter what i tried on it.
