Description
Classic single pickup Les Paul Junior in Black. A simple and iconic design; solid slab Mahogany single cutaway body, compensating stud tailpiece, Gibson Deluxe tuners, single P90 pickup and volume and tone controls. It's simplicity is it's greatest strength! The Alnico V equipped P90 gives you a hot, raw sound with plenty of top end cut. Back off the volume and it will clean up nicely, almost in Telecaster territory. The tone control is great fun to play around with when the amp is driven and overall there's a surprising amount of versatility for such a simple model. The quarter-sawn solid Mahogany neck has Gibson's "Slim Taper" profile and the 12" radius board with medium Jumbo frets gives a really nice wide/flat feel with plenty of room for string bending.
