The Salvador Cortez Sonata S is a classical concert guitar crafted from solid Engelmann spruce, solid padauk, and an ebony fingerboard. The padauk gives the guitar great sonic projection on the bass and rich overtones, the lattice-bracing gives it a very prompt sonic response.

The soundboard in solid Engelmann spruce, made with a lattice-bracing , gives the instrument a rich and defined sound, great sound projection and a prompt response. The solid padauk for the back and sides guarantees an immediate sonic response. The neck has a thin and light profile designed to facilitate the left hand in the most complicated passages. The Sonata S is made with selected high quality woods such as solid Engelmann spruce for the soundboard, solid padauk for the back and sides, ebony for the keyboard.

The Sonata S, like all the guitars in the All Solid Performer series, features an attention to detail of the highest level which makes it a prestigious instrument both sonically and aesthetically. The Sonata S features a double action truss rod. The truss-rod is a light metal core placed inside the neck to allow you to adjust the action of the guitar simply and quickly using a simple Allen key. This makes it possible to reduce periodic maintenance and setting costs to a minimum.
