Description

The NU-X Ace of Tone combines two distinct overdrive circuits — Morning Star and Tubeman — into a single dual-footswitch pedal with independent controls for each channel. Use either overdrive on its own, or stack them in two configurations: Tubeman into Morning Star, or Morning Star into Tubeman, for a wide range of grit and lead tones from a single unit.

Morning Star – Transparent, natural-sounding overdrive. Hold the footswitch to engage Shine mode, which boosts the treble for added cut and presence.

Tubeman – Classic overdrive circuit with a mid-focused tone character. Hold the footswitch to engage Fat mode, which increases bass for a fuller, heavier sound.

A rear-panel switch selects between true bypass and buffered bypass. A second rear switch engages an internal voltage multiplier, delivering 18V operation for increased headroom and dynamic range from a standard 9V supply.
