Truss Rod Parts - WM Guitars

Truss Rod Parts

A stripped or damaged truss rod nut doesn't mean a ruined neck — in most cases it's a straightforward replacement. We stock the most common truss rod nut types used across vintage and modern guitars, along with truss rod covers for a clean, finished headstock appearance.

Truss Rod Nut Replacements

  • 4mm Bullet (Chrome) — Fender vintage-style bullet nut; 4mm thread; for vintage-style Fender truss rods accessed at the headstock
  • 4mm Standard / UNF 10-32 Thread — for modern standard truss rods; the most common replacement type on contemporary electric guitars
  • Brass Gibson Style — brass nut for Gibson-style truss rods; direct replacement for stripped nuts on Les Paul, SG, and similar instruments
  • Vintage Crosshead — for vintage instruments where the truss rod is accessed from the neck pocket; crosshead (Phillips-style) fitting

Truss Rod Covers

  • Truss Rod Cover — Various Designs — fits over the truss rod access point on the headstock; protects the nut from dust and damage; available in multiple styles and materials to suit different headstock aesthetics; easy to fit with standard mounting screws
