Description
The NU-X Amp Academy is a complete valve amp modelling pedal in a compact stompbox format. Six classic amplifier models are available across two channels, with three storable scenes for fast live recall. Each patch includes Gain, Master, and Boost controls for overdriven tones, a 3-band EQ with Presence, built-in reverb, a noise gate, and an effects send/return loop for inserting other pedals — mirroring the layout of a real professional tube amplifier.
Balanced XLR DI output and unbalanced 6.35mm output give flexible options for FRFR speakers, mixing consoles, or direct recording. Custom or third-party IR files can be loaded for personalised cabinet simulation. All settings are fully editable via USB using the free Amp Academy software (available at nuxefx.com).
