Description
The NU-X Edge (NDD-3) is a compact mini delay pedal offering three distinct delay types in a single unit. Switch between them by holding the footswitch.
ΦPhi Digital Delay – A clean digital delay with a golden ratio second repeat head, adding richness and harmonic depth to your tone. Supports smart tap tempo with selectable sub-divisions.
Analog Delay – Based on vintage BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) circuitry, producing warm repeats with natural treble decay. Suited to ballad solos and chordal textures. Quickly sweeping the Time knob from max to min triggers an infinity oscillation feedback effect.
Tape Echo – Inspired by the legendary Space Echo, this mode digitally recreates the feel of real tape and capstan playback, including high-frequency saturation, low-end decay, and gentle modulation for added warmth and colour. The same Time knob sweep trick triggers infinity feedback here too.
Smart Tap Tempo: Set your desired sub-division with the Time knob, then double-press the footswitch to engage tap tempo. The delay time locks to the tapped BPM and current sub-division, with the LED flashing at the current tempo. Single press engages or disengages the effect.
