NU-X Lacerate Mini FET Boost Pedal – Clean & Crank Modes

The NU-X Lacerate is a mini dual-FET boost pedal with a single control knob and two distinct boost modes, selectable via a footswitch hold. An integrated 9V-to-18V voltage doubler runs internally, providing significantly increased headroom and dynamic range from a standard 9V supply.

Clean Boost – Boosts the signal level with no tonal colouration, making it one of the cleanest transparent boost options available. Ideal for pushing an amp or lifting solos without changing your core tone.

Crank Boost – Hold the footswitch for one second to engage the second FET stage, adding harmonically rich overdrive character alongside the boost. Delivers up to +35dB — significantly more than the +20dB ceiling of most boost pedals.

Bypass: Switchable between true bypass and buffered bypass. To change mode, hold the footswitch while powering on. The 18V internal voltage also improves the quality of the buffer circuit, making it a capable always-on buffer for the front of a signal chain.
