Description

The NU-X Ukiyo-E (NCH-4) is a compact mini chorus pedal offering three classic chorus models in a single unit. Switch between them using the tap switch.

ST Chorus – A clean, studio-style stereo chorus character.
SCH-1 – Inspired by the warm, lush tones of the classic SCH-1 chorus.
CE-1 – Based on the iconic CE-1, the original chorus pedal sound.

Rather than using actual BBD chips, NU-X's DSP algorithm is specifically engineered to replicate the principles of bucket-brigade circuitry — delivering the warm, dynamic tone of traditional analogue chorus with the noise elimination and consistency of modern digital processing. Active low-frequency response preserves the full-bodied character that analogue chorus is known for, while keeping the noise floor clean.
