MXR Joshua Ambient Echo Delay Pedal with PSU

The MXR Joshua Ambient Echo is a feature-rich ambient delay pedal built around a carefully tuned foundation of tones and textures, covering everything from the warm, spacious sounds of the '60s and '70s through to the ethereal ambience of the '80s. It comes dialled in and ready to use straight out of the box, with enough depth to build complex custom soundscapes when you want to go further. Includes PSU.

Delay: Delay and Regen controls set the tempo and number of echoes. The Division control selects from six rhythmic subdivisions: ¼ note, dotted ⅛ note, ⅛ note, ⅛ note triplet, double delay with ⅛ note, and dotted ⅛ note. A Trails switch keeps echoes fading naturally after bypass. The Echo 2 switch adds a secondary set of echoes at ¼ note tempo, adjustable via advanced settings. Tap tempo is available via the footswitch or an off-board switch through the CTR jack, which also supports a freeze function to lock delay lines at max feedback.

Modulation & Voice: The Mod control adds lush, chewy modulation to the delay signal. The Voice control blends a custom mix of -1 sub octave, +1 octave up, and +2 octave up signals for an organ-like, ethereal character across the whole soundscape.

Extended control: Stereo input and output, expression pedal support, and up to 12 programmable parameters including LED behaviour and secondary echo mix.

Requires 9V DC (300mA). Compatible with Dunlop ECB003 adapter and MXR Iso-Brick Pro, Iso-Brick, and Mini Iso-Brick power supplies. Cannot be powered by battery.
