Description
The Revv G2 is an analogue overdrive and preamp pedal with the widest gain and EQ range in the Revv pedal lineup. Three voicing modes cover a broad tonal spectrum, and a wide-ranging 3-band EQ provides precise tone shaping. It can be run in front of an amplifier as a standard overdrive or stacked with other pedals, or connected directly into an amplifier's effects loop to function as a standalone preamp.
Blue mode – Touch-responsive overdrive with musical breakup. Cleans up with lighter picking and breaks up naturally with harder attack, making it a go-to for studio and live work across country and blues styles.
Red mode – Fat, amp-like gain suited to classic rock and higher-gain country. More compressed and forward than Blue mode.
Off mode – Full-range boost with wide gain range. Ideal for pushing the front end of a tube amplifier into natural breakup without adding voicing colouration.
