Stoney Creek Rochelle #000 Electric Guitar

Stoney Creek Guitars was founded by luthier Frank de Haan in 2013, with the brand name established in 2018 to mark his first five years as an independent builder — named after a town in Canada that played a part in his journey as a luthier. Every Stoney Creek guitar is a one-off build; the workshop deliberately avoids repeating the same guitar twice, resulting in instruments that are individually crafted and unique to their owner.

The Rochelle is a thinline semi-hollow design drawing on both Telecaster and Les Paul influences. This example (#000) is built on an alder body with a white poly gloss finish and bound edges, paired with a maple C-shape bolt-on neck and rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays. Hardware is finished in gold throughout: Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe tremolo, Kluson machine heads, and two custom Apollo Specialtron pickups — a combination that delivers a distinctive, articulate tone with strong vintage character. Controls are 2 volume / 2 tone with a 3-way toggle switch.
